Mosaic Tile Mania Hanging Hardware Kit for 1/2" GoBoard

Pair this item with our custom cut GoBoards in various sizes for a great start to your next mosaic project.

Use one kit (centered) for small to medium projects, depending on total weight.

Use two kits (spread out and leveled) for larger projects.

One kit tested and held good at 20 lbs.

Instructions (see photos):

1. Measure and mark the center on the back of the GoBoard.
2. Using an ice pick or similar sharp round tool just a bit smaller than the bolt (for a tight fit), poke it through the back to the front. Note: go slow, keep it straight, not tilted.
3. Center the GoBoard washer over the hole on the front side, and push it straight down to create 4 indentions.
4. Carve out the GoBoard to match the countersunk profile.
5. Set the GoBoard washer in place; it should sit flat/flush with the front of the GoBoard.
6. Insert the bolt from the front, and attach the hanger and the nut from the back
7. Tighten until snug and make sure the bolt and GoBoard washer fit together nice and flat.
8. Use cardboard or other materials to set your prepped GoBoard over while creating your mosaic on the front.
9. We recommend WELDBOND or similar adhesive, especially over the GoBoard washer; thinset mortar will not bond to metal.
