Description

Now available in 8 different varieties and 3 different sizes!

Assorted Mix:  This mix contains a wide variety of glass colors and textures.  If you're looking for variety, look no further!  No duplicates guaranteed in each package!  (Multiple packages will have some duplicates.)

Hot Mix:  This mixture will be made up of reds, oranges and yellows.  Nice and bright!  There may be duplicates in the 1/4" width packages.

Cool Mix:  You'll find mostly blues, greens and a small number of purples here.  It's a beautiful mix!  There may be duplicates in the 1/4" width packages.

Fusible Mix:  COE 96 only in this mix!  It's great for fusers and mosaic artists alike.

Neutral Mix:  This mix contains black, white, off-white, gray, clear (colorless) and mirrored glass.  Duplicates are likely, especially in the 1/4" width packages.

Opaque Mix:  Little to no light passes through this glass.  It's great for any project without a light source behind it as well as any project in which an undesirable background may be seen through other glass.

Van Gogh Mix:  These strips will come entirely from our Van Gogh selection.  There may be duplicates in the 1/4" width packages.

Translucent Mix:  This is a lovely assortment of colors in only translucent (see through) glass.  This is great for wind chimes, glass-on-glass projects or any other project with plenty of light passing through.

These STRIPS are available in three different widths:  1/4", 1/2" and 3/4". Most hover around 4-6" in length which varies from one package to the next. Each 1/2 lb package contains about 35-40 strips (1/4" width), 15-19 strips (1/2" width) or 11-15 strips (3/4" width), which amounts to about 50 sq inches of glass. With 1/8" spacing, you can get about 75 sq inches of mosaic coverage per package.  (Photos show 1/4" wide strips.)

If you're looking for strips in an individual color rather than one of these mixes, please see the details page of the color you'd like.  When you click the drop-down menu under the heading "Select Tile Size" a list of over 20 tile sizes will appear, including a few different "STRIP" sizes about halfway down the list.

If you'd like a mix with a focus on something more specific, like a cool mix with mostly blues, or an assorted mix with mostly iridescent glass, etc, please feel free to make your request in the notes section when you check out and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

To see all of our hand-cut stained glass mosaic tiles grouped by type, just click the "Mosaic Tiles by Attribute" drop-down list in the Categories menu on the left, or click any of these links:

Our stained glass mosaic tiles are 3mm (1/8") thick and they're all 100% hand-cut, providing the mosaic artist that authentic look for their completed project. Sizes are approximate and will vary slightly. To ensure availability and color consistency, please order enough of each item to complete your project. Some glass colors and traits vary slightly from sheet to sheet so the appearance may vary on future orders. If you'd like to view any glass in person before starting your project, samples are available here. (Sample page will open in a new window.)

Over 1/2 of the strips were broken on my last order. But had to quickly reorder to finish a project. Delivery is Friday... praying for few broken strips!

Exactly what I was loking for

Posted by Kathleen Finderson on 7th Sep 2018

I ordered both Col Mix strios as well as the more varied random mix strips. What I got was exactly what I wanted in both cases - a mix of various clors, opacities abd finishes, all in 1/2 inch strips, which work best for most women f the mosaic pieces i do. I can easily cut them into squares, rectangles and trisngles, and best f all the mix in f colors will help me fill out more detail and defnition on my pieces. And Also want to mention the 2 lb scrap glass packages, which will be useful right this minute on a copper foil panel I have on the bench. One package had two pieces of the exact brown opalume that I have been looking for, which saved me a trip to the glass store. Can’t thank you enough!

I nipped these into 1/4" squares for a mini mosaic and used full strips for the frame. Now I'm planning my next project. These are my new favorites!

    Great choice

I had purchased this product before and used it to make a mosaic coat rack. I later sold it on Etsy. Loved it so much I’m making another one!
