Place your mesh on a flat surface on top of your pattern, if you have one. Glue your tiles to the mesh using the adhesive of your choice, face up.
Next, trim any stray edges from your mesh and prepare your substrate with a thick adhesive (ceramic tile adhesive is good for this step).
Finally, place your mesh/mosaic over the adhesive and press down until the adhesive has squished up through the holes in the mesh, onto the backs of your tiles for a permanent hold.
