Each purchase is for approximately 25 square inches of glass, regardless of tile size. After your order is placed, we'll calculate how many tiles come closest to 25 square inches to determine how many to ship. (If you purchase a quantity of 2, then we'll send you approximately 50 square inches of glass, and so on...)
How tile quantity is calculated:
Say you order 2" x 4" tiles. Multiply length times width (2 x 4) to get an area of 8 square inches per tile. Divide 25 by 8 to get 3.125. This rounds down to 3, so you'll receive 3 glass pieces for each purchase of 2" x 4" tiles.
